The clever engineers of the modern world, have really developed and achieved a remarkable alternative environment to painting with real paints and brushes...This Digital Environment still amazes me, every day that I use it...
VERY BASIC digital editing of photos (with the emphasize on VERY BASIC...) is not that difficult to do, and you don't need all the awesome modern digital tools, mentioned above and below. There are also of course free online photo editing software available on the internet
And, let's face it: Professional Cameras and Lenses, Fast and Powerful Computers and Monitors, Sophisticated Graphics Software like Photoshop and Corel, and WACOM Art Tablets, are EXPENSIVE STUFF!( My own set-up, and the tools that I use to create my images, cost in excess of $60 000 USD...this same equipment is also used in my free online photo editing work, and that amount, is relatively small, when compared to the equipment that many other professional photographers use to do their jobs! )

Below is one of my Glamor Edits. It is a combination of 2 images ( The original, very badly taken photo can be seen just below it...)
I took the photo below some years ago on a beach close to where I live. It was at the end of a very long photo-shoot, and it shows! The photograph below is just plain ugly, and horrible, and has many faults:
- The model looks terrible: angry...tired and uncomfortable! - The background is completely angled - The lighting is harsh and unflattering - The mood is totally unpleasant...
