My-pin-up-girl.com is a website about beautiful images of Beautiful Women...yes...all kinds of images...

But... the Pictures over here are rather Different, that's for sure!

They are Powerful, Soulful, Fascinating, Artistic, Unique and Inspiring...and they have been created by some of the greatest Photographers, Painters and Artists, from all corners of the Earth.

There is lots of information about Camera Equipment...
Computer Hardware and Software, and Style and Technique...

But it is mostly about Beautiful Pictures of Beautiful Women
(And about sharing my personal Favorite Images of Beautiful Women...and Pin-Up Girls...with a little bit of Great Poetry splashed inbetween...)

The original reason for building this website...Which I'm doing very enthusiastically and with some effort, mind you!... Was to display my own work, as well as my favorite images of pin-up girls.
But it is no longer only about Beautiful Pictures of Pin-Up Girls...

My-pin-up-girl.com is rapidly changing and developing
into a website with much wider goals and impact...It now achieves much more than initially intended.

It is quickly developing into an important source for quality content...
Which Displays, Promotes, Talks about, and Reviews
Some of the most amazing Work and Talents Of some of the Greatest Artists, Photographers and Poets who ever lived...

And to them I want to say:

All my photography and post-processing is digital...(I still have a Canon film-camera, but almost never use it any more, although I plan to do some film-photography again, sometime soon)

I would love to do Medium-Format photography, especially with the latest and greatest, (and incredibly expensive) digital Hasselblad equipment, but before I can do that, I would have to sell my house..and my car...and my wife...and my dog...and...

The pictures and graphics on my-pin-up-girl.com...(except where stated otherwise) are my own creations...They were all taken and made with a CANON 5D digital camera fitted with CANON L-series lenses, and CANON speedlites. The software is Photoshop CS2.

The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM, and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM are my definite favorites...

I also often use the fantastic Canon 580EX speedlite on the camera, (especially during daytime, when the sun is very bright) to eliminate harsh shadows.

As far as the computer side goes, I use the awesome little Macbook Pro, and a Sony VAIO Laptop computers to do most of my work. Photoshop CS2 and the equally incredible and fantastic WACOM Art Tablet, is used for the bulk of the post-processing/editing.

(I must add: I have never come across a more seamless, and smoother integration, between hardware and software, than the Photoshop/WACOM digital interface)

At this point I would also like to add that (as far as Digital Photography is concerned) the amount of RAM (Random Access Memory...or "working memory"...) in a computer is often a critical element in the whole process of serious photographic work and/or editing. Without enough computing power and RAM, life can be very frustrating, sometimes...

And of course...it all would have been impossible, without the beautiful women,
and the pin-up girls..."
