The exquisitely beautiful model Sybille (above) is one of met-art's wonderful models, and she is shown here as photographed by Giovanni Nova.The way Nova used light, pose and setting to add a humorous mood and fun-element to this shot, is particularly appealing to me...this girl actually looks a lot like the "Mandy" character of cartoonist DEAN YEAGLE... Her luscious curves and delicate softness, and the warmth she exudes, blends in perfectly with the setting. A great example of superb met art photography. Fantastic work! The met art photography that I will show on my-pin-up-girl.com, as well as others images, like those from PLAYBOY, are some of my personal favorites in so far as erotic photography, is concerned. When I (WIMMA) look at a picture of a beautiful women, the first thing that I look for, is the way that the photographer has created the image, and especially the way that he has used light. (hmmm... okay!... I lie... the first thing is the way the girl looks!...) But seriously...the creative process is most important to me, and that includes the use of available light, background, pose, attire, technique etc...Lately my preference is definitely for Natural Light combined with backgrounds, that will enhance and emphasize the beauty of the model. The LIGHT really is everything...After all, the camera sensor (or film) records reflected light, and that's it!

The powerful, dramatic and soulful portrait (above)of a young and incredibly beautiful MET-model is by Richard Murrian.I don't know how he did this, but the effect is amazing...very reminiscent of, and any day as good as, the fantastic paintings of LUIS ROYO...she looks like a bronze statue, or a young goddess from a place far away...stunning met art photography indeed...DARK and INTENSE Richard Murrian started working as a photographer in around the year 2000, following a career as a rock musician. His early work gained some attention as an heir-apparent to David Hamilton, as his work shared a similar dreamy style and the use of attractive young models. In more recent years, his photography has evolved into a more contemporary style and his subjects have included mostly professional glamour and fashion models from eastern Europe.His first book "Reanna's Diaries" was published in 2004, followed by a second, "See Me, Feel Me" in 2006, and a third, "Babydoll", in 2007. All his books to date have been published by German / Swiss publishing house Edition Skylight. His photographs have been exhibited internationally in galleries and major photographic exhibits in New York, Paris, and many other cities around the World.
The year 2006 saw the launch of the website MUSE - Inspiration Eternelle jointly with partners in the UK and France. Murrian serves as featured photographer and creative director for this website.His photographs have been published by many magazines including French Maxim, FHM, PHOTO, and Stern magazine in Germany, and many other lesser known similar publications.Richard Murrian is married to model and photographer Nancy Murrian.
